Totesom (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides virtual audition reader and coaching services for actors. By booking a session with us, you (“client,” “you,” “your”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
Clients must be
18 years or older
, or have parental/guardian consent to use our services. By booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Totesom offers:
Audition Reader Sessions (no feedback)Audition Coaching Sessions (includes feedback and performance notes)
Services are delivered virtually via video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom), and may also include email communication and file exchanges for preparation.
A non-refundable deposit of $5 CAD is required at the time of booking to secure your session.The remaining session fee will be invoiced and due after the session is completed.Payment is processed via Stripe or other secure, authorized payment platforms.
Sessions may be rescheduled up to 12 hours before your scheduled time without penalty.If you cancel with less than 12 hours’ notice or do not show up for your session, your $5 deposit will be forfeited.We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to emergencies, illness, or unforeseen conflicts, in which case your deposit may be transferred or refunded.
You agree to show up on time, prepared, and in a distraction-free environment. Totesom reserves the right to end any session without refund if a client is found to be abusive, inappropriate, or intoxicated.
If you exceed your booked time and we have availability, we may extend the session at your request.Additional time will be invoiced at the standard 15-minute rate.Invoices for additional time must be paid within 48 hours of the session.
All training content, feedback, and communication are the intellectual property of Totesom. You may record your sessions for personal reference but may not distribute, post, or share any part of our coaching or communication publicly without written permission.
We are committed to maintaining your privacy and confidentiality. Your sessions, submitted materials, and personal information will not be shared or disclosed without your written consent, unless required by law. You are responsible for the security of your own audition materials and should not submit content you do not have permission to use.
While we strive to help you perform at your best,
we do not guarantee bookings, roles, or representation
as a result of using our services. Success depends on many factors beyond our control.
Totesom and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services. Our
maximum liability
shall not exceed the total amount paid for the session(s) in question.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada
applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of
Toronto, Ontario.
13. Communication Consent
By booking a session, you consent to receive email and SMS communications from Totesom related to your services, including:
Appointment confirmations and reminders
Follow-up messages
Invoicing and feedback requests
Occasional updates or service announcements
You may opt out of promotional messages at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in emails or replying “STOP” to SMS messages. Transactional messages related to your sessions (e.g., reminders, invoices) are still permitted as part of our service relationship.
14. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes via email or website announcement.
By booking a session with Totesom, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
